BACH TO BACH
Solo piano concert by Andrew Morris
This is the first performance in Britain of this inspiring programme that had great
success in Romania in May 2011. Andrew Morris will play twelve of his own Musical
Remedies compositions based on the Bach Flower Remedies. Each composition will
be paired with one of the Preludes and Fugues from J. S. Bach’s Well Tempered Clavier.

by Welsh guitar virtuoso Gary Phillips and rock-solid double bass master Pete Kubryk-Townsend, Tim presents a night
of Gypsy magic, Grappelli romance and some good old barn-storming Swing. Kliphuis is well known for his work with gypsy guitar legends Fapy Lafertin and Angelo Debarre and was recently to be heard playing BBC3’s In Tune.

A Film By Barrie Gavin
Made in 1987, this is a portrait in words and images of the 19th century nature writer Richard Jefferies. Born in Swindon, he began life as a journalist, later becoming a novelist in the manner of Thomas Hardy and an ecstatic celebrant of the English landscape. His words are spoken by the actor Paul Scofield.
Plus a 6 minute film, Green, which sets the landscapes of the borders
to music by the Japanese composer, Toru Takemitsu.

KIDNAP ALICE

Impressive at The Secret Garden Party, Kidnap Alice are a smokin’ new band based in London but hailing from the
South West and South East of England. The band mix up Bluegrass and Old Time tunes adding a modern twist, and give classics and originals the ‘Bluegrass treatment’.
